2020 Nissan Z Specs
The 2020 Nissan Z — also known as the Nissan 370Z — is a high-performance sports car that offers exhilarating drives through Richmond. Two powerful engine options give the Nissan Z cars nimble handling through Lexington roads, and its low starting MSRP makes it an ideal car for drivers who want to save money but also have a need for speed. The 2020 Nissan Z redesign makes some slight changes to its appearance and interior features, but the overall performance and looks of the Nissan Z remain the same. Explore the new Nissan Z performance and features below, then contact us when you’re ready to explore this Nissan coupe in person.
2020 Nissan Z Performance
The new Nissan Z offers two engine options for Berea drivers to choose from. Each engine offers wheel-gripping top speeds and responsive handing on tight turns and down narrow roads. The 3.7L V6 engine will give drivers who want an adrenaline boost on their commute a satisfying ride, but drivers who want the ultimate racing experience should consider the specially designed NISMO® engine. Explore the specs of each engine option below:
Nissan Z 3.7L V6 Engine:
- 332 hp
- 270 lb-ft of torque
- 7,5000-rpm redline
Nissan Z NISMO® Engine:
- 350 hp
- 276 lb-ft of torque
- 7,5000-rpm redline
Nissan Z cars come with a 6-speed manual transmission standard, but a 7-speed automatic transmission is available for drivers to upgrade to. However, if you stick with the 6-speed manual transmission, you’ll be treated to an Exedy® high-performance clutch system, paddle shifters which allow you to fine-tune your shifting, and Synchrorev Match® technology which smooths your transitions from gear to gear by throttling the engine to its ideal RPM.
2020 Nissan Z Redesign
The 2020 Nissan Z redesign for 2020 didn’t offer much in stylistic changes — not that it needed any. Most of the modifications made to the Nissan Z cars for their 2020 model year were to enhance its steering and suspension on London roads. You can read about these enhancements below:
- An advanced front midship platform enhances the Nissan Z models’ handling by pushing the engine’s center of mass behind the front axle and moves the front wheels closer to the corner of the vehicle.
- Instead of the typical 50/50 weight distribution found on most Nissan cars, the 55/45 weight distribution on the Nissan Z allows for better traction and quicker turns by shifting the weight of the Nissan Z during acceleration.
- Lightweight carbon fiber components make the Nissan Z lighter, which improves its performance for Richmond drivers without sacrificing quality.
Complete your new Nissan Z design with high-performance tires, 19-inch forged alloy wheels, 14-inch front brake rotors, and a double-wishbone front suspension system for the ultimate driving experience that will optimize your speed and keep you safe.
