The entry-level Titan S has the basics. It features 18-inch steel wheels, remote keyless entry, and a functional tailgate that you can remove, damp, or lock. The SV adds alloy wheels, comes with LED taillights, and has heated side exterior mirrors with turn signals. The SV also offers the option for a spray-in bed liner, while choosing the Pro-4X gets you all-terrain tires, off-road shocks, skid plates, LED headlights, and LED running lights. A step up to the SL gets you upgraded features in the cabin, running boards, and the option for a panoramic sunroof.

The top-level Platinum Reserve comes with 20-inch wheels, a two-tone exterior paint scheme, and a chrome grille surround. A rear bed step is optional for the Platinum Reserve, and you can also get a lockable toolbox for the bed and a panoramic moonroof.

Power for the Titan comes from a 5.6-liter V-8 engine that puts out 400 horsepower and generates 413 pound-feet of torque as long as you use premium gas. A nine-speed automatic transmission works with the V-8, and the Titan has rear-wheel drive for all trims except the Pro-4X, which comes with four-wheel drive. The four-wheel-drive system is optional for the rest of the lineup.

The Titan offers a smooth ride and stays composed when driving over curvy back roads. The Pro-4X is the best choice for drivers who want to take the Titan over rough terrain, and when equipped with the tow package, any of the trims can tow up to 9,310 pounds.

The Titan has room for six with the front bench seat and five with the available bucket seats. The S comes with cloth and vinyl upholstery, power windows, and air conditioning, and you get cloth upholstery in the SV. Leather upholstery and a power-adjustable driver's seat come in the Pro-4X, and the SL adds a power-adjustable front seat for the passenger and heated front seats. Step up to the Platinum Reserve for leather upholstery and a heated steering wheel.

Technology features in the Titan include an 8-inch touch screen, a USB port, hands-free texting, and Apple CarPlay and Android Auto. The SV adds NissanConnect with Mobile Apps, and it has satellite radio, while the SL comes with a 9-inch touch screen, integrated navigation, and an 11-volt outlet in the cargo bed.

Every Titan comes with Nissan's Safety Shield 360 group of driver assistance features. It includes an automatic emergency braking system, forward collision warning, a blind-spot monitor, rear cross-traffic alert, automatic high beam headlights, and lane-departure warning. Rain-sensing wipers are optional for the SV, and the Pro-4X offers the option for a 360-degree surround-view camera system. The surround-view camera comes standard with the SL, and this model offers extendible mirrors for towing and a trailer light function check.
